Weigh-In/Ear Tagging Dates:
December 14, 2024 from 9am-12pm
February 15, 2025 from 9am-12pm
Both dates will take place at the Shipshewana Sale Barn in Shipshewana, IN on State Road 5.
**You need to make sure you are attending ONE of these dates. You DO NOT need to come to both dates just one. You will have paperwork to fill out, we will be ear tagging for the county fair and placing the RFID tag, weighing calves, and signing your calves up for our fair and state fair. This includes ALL MARKET AND CROSSBRED ANIMALS-- steers, commercial heifers, market heifers. Purebred heifers do not need to come unless you think you will be unable to get papers to us by the May 15 deadline. There usually is also the option to have your calves treated with a pour on dewormer for $5 per calf that you will need to pay on this day. These are usually cold days so come bundled up and with happy faces!!**
